About Sand n Straw Foundation
We are often asked if we can accept donations to the Farm to help with our projects.
The Sand n Straw Foundation was born from a deep commitment to nurturing urban farms and community gardens. Our journey began at an Urban Agriculture training where we met a woman who had poured her heart into running a beloved community garden. Despite five years of serving as a vital community hub, the garden was forced to close because a developer purchased the land. This story, all too common, inspired us to take action and be part of the solution.
Situated on a regenerative farm, our foundation is a beacon of hope and inspiration. We offer a wide range of programs and events designed to educate, uplift, and inspire individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Through interactive workshops, engaging events, and immersive farm experiences, we foster a profound appreciation for environmental stewardship and the interconnectedness of all living things.
