What our community is saying

“This is, by far, the best Farm Box I've ever had. My entire family, including two little girls, are excited to pick it up every week and we love the delicious, fresh produce. Sand N' Straw farm is a true community treasure. We always bring out of town guests and they are impressed with this gem of a farm and the quality produce. We look forward to being Farm Box members for a very long time.”

 Summer Camps on the farm

Young Pioneers Summer Camp is an outdoor, farm-based camp that focuses on hands-on learning in nature. Campers explore the farm through activities like harvesting fruits and vegetables, cooking simple foods, gardening, science experiments, crafts, and nature exploration. Each week features a different theme—such as berries, seeds, sunshine, rainbow harvests, and melons—where kids learn through games, creative projects, and outdoor discovery.

The camp emphasizes learning by doing, helping children build curiosity, creativity, and a connection to nature while spending their days outdoors on the farm.

Enrollment Options: 8 week semester OR Week long camps available
